Life has a way of showing you what you are capable of accomplishing. Whether you attempt to achieve them or not is completely up to you. Some people sit on the edge of their dreams waiting for the right time to start; while holding the keys to their destiny in their own hands.
My life has shown me that it is not promised. To live everyday like it truly is your last. To make mistakes. To learn. To fail. To succeed. Most importantly, my life has taught me to not give up.
My art is an example of me refusing to give up or capitulate to a society that questions the validity of my humanity and the humanity of others who look like me.
My art may not always make you feel good, but with every stroke, I do my best to ensure that you will feel something.
